Through the Alumni Association

BA Silk Ties - discounted to £10 for cadets, which normally retail at £17.50. - click here for more info

Close Brothers Banking will pay the £10 BA Joining fee and the first years BA sub of £10 (and provide free kit insurance at BRNC for cadets),

Close Brothers credit card (no annual fee) to those who take up their card and membership by variable direct debit.

The availability of a single point of contact to help to facilitate social/ recreational functions within the College.

At Britannia Royal Naval College

A personalised ID card to facilitate access to and for use within the College campus. However, BA members are asked, for reasons of security, to call the BA office on 01803 677565, in advance of their visit.

Reunions at BRNC - reunion dinners are offered at a discounted rate (of around £45 per head, depending upon wine and menu choices) to BA members.

Holiday Cottage - East Gate Lodge is available all the year round at £200 per week - for more info Contact Peter Williams on 01803 677025 for bookings.

Astroturf, Tennis Courts, Gym, Fitness Suite and Swimming Pool - all available throughout the year except for the pool, which is limited to opening times during the term due to Health & Safety. Please book your visit through the Sports Office on 01803 677185.

Weddings in the College Chapel - available through discussions with the College Chaplains, and receptions arranged directly with Sodexho.

Honours Boards for Founder Life and Endowment Life Members will be hung in the College.

Access to archives for personal research (e.g. class lists, photos, records).

Access to the Britannia Association Commonroom which will include journals, photos, class lists, a database access terminal, internet access, and refreshment facilities.

On the water

Sailing -  Bosun and Laser dinghies may be used by qualified members, subject to availability.

Berthing Facilities - moorings available at £5.00 each day throughout the year at Sandquay

Gig Rowing - Cornish Pilot Gig pulling can be arranged.

Boating - Qualified members may be able to take a Motor Whaler away if core
training allows.

- BA members are being offered a discount on the newly published Daily Telegraph Book of Naval Obituaries. This is an excellent read, and if you'd like to obtain a copy of this at a cost of £15 (including P&P), please call Grub Street Publishers on 020 7924 3966, or email post@grubstreet.co.uk. RRP is £17.99

- The BRNC Centenary Book will be available from 6 April 2005 (the official launch). At £25, this is a superb read, with a foreword by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh who describes it as a 'detailed and fascinating book'. BA members will be able to reserve copies ahead of the launch date - please keep watchingthe website for details of how to do this.
